When nurses need information from their professional organization, they usually need it right away. The website we designed for our client, Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, makes it quicker and easier for website visitors to understand what the site contains, find what they need quickly, and see the value of joining the organization to get access to members-only content and discussion.
This is the story of usability testing that resulted in a complete restructuring of a website to match the way its audiences expected to find content.
Our client had been through a recent website redesign that failed. They wanted to revise the website, but they were wary of going through another planning and design process. They hired us to get the team unstuck and help them move forward with a website redesign, on an aggressive timeline.
